Eminem Addresses Dating Rumor, Nicki Minaj Chimes In

When a fan asked Nicki Minaj whether she was dating Eminem, she flat out responded, “Yes.” Since then, her fans have wanted it to be true and the rumors haven’t stopped since. Eminem took a moment to talk about the Minaj dating rumors during his set at the 2018 Boston Calling Music Festival on Sunday (May 27).

The Detroit-born rapper picked up the mic for audience interaction while taking a break in between songs.

“I wanna take this time right now to give a shoutout to my bae, Nicki Minaj,” he began. “Sweetheart, I’ll be home tonight. We’ll figure this sh*t out, how we’re gonna deal with this publicly.” The crowd roared.

Then Eminem asked, “Boston, how many of you want me to date Nicki Minaj?” When the crowd screamed, the Detroit native answered, “Well, god dammit, me, too. Nicki, if you get this message, just text me later. We’ll talk about it.”

Nicki responded on Twitter early Monday morning (May 28), calling Eminem a “goof” like her and going on to say, “Em we need you on the #Queen album. That’s where our 1st date will be; at the studio while I gaze into ur beautiful eyes as u write ur verse

Ja Rule Thought It Was Necessary To Remind 50 Cent His Son Is A Ja Rule Fan

Ja Rule Thought It Was Necessary To Remind 50 Cent His Son Is A Ja Rule Fan

For Throwback Thursday, Ja Rule thought it was necessary to remind his longtime foe, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson that his oldest son Marquise is a fan of his.

Taking to Instagram Wednesday, (Feb. 14) Rule, real name Jeffrey Atkins, dug up a 2017 Rap Up quote from Marquise in which he spoke about Rule being a major musical influence.

The seemingly petty move comes weeks after their war, which had been dormant for a little more than a decade, was randomly reignited on Twitter.

“Glad I was able to inspire you and your dad,” the 41-year-old captioned, but not before being sure to at the Power actor and executive producer.

The original quote finds Marquise speaking about his own musical aspirations, and the lack of boundaries surrounding artists of today.

“Everything’s evolving,” Marquise said. “I do a little bit of singing and I do a little bit of rapping. Automatically, I would probably fit into that Drake, [Lil] Wayne, Bryson Tiller, or a certain type of lane, right? But as far as I can go back into my mental rolodex, Ja Rule was probably one of the first to do it and I listen to a lot of Ja Rule because of that. So, it’s more like tapping into both. It’s like a history book.”

Rule reportedly took a shot at Fif after the Den of Thieves actor took to Instagram and said Rule’s kids beg him to watch Power. The post has since been deleted, and at the time of this story, 50 Cent hasn’t responded.

BUT, if you know Mr. Jackson like we know Mr. Jackson get your popcorn ready because there will be a response.

KENDRICK LAMAR, J. COLE GETS FEATURE ON JEEZY’S ‘PESSURE’ ALBUM

Jeezy reveals the tracklist for his new album Pressure and some big names can be found on it.

The album is set for a December 15th release date, the same day that Eminem is dropping Revival. Among the tracklist on Jeezy’s new 13-track LP are Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Trey Songz, WizKid, Kodak Black, Puff Daddy, 2 Chainz, Tee Grizzley, Rick Ross, Tory Lanez, Payroll Giovanni, and YG. The project is packed with an all-star cast with Jeezy going solo on only four singles.

Interestingly, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole are featured on the same track with Jeezy, “American Dream.” The upcoming single got tongues waging given that these two young rappers are often mentioned in the top five rappers alive debate. This marks the first time that Cole and K-Dot are working together on the same single. How did Jeezy make that happen? Well, he must have pulled some serious strings.

The closest that they ever came to working together was on Black Friday of 2015 when they both remixed each other songs. J. Cole rapped over Kendrick’s smash hit single “Alright” and the Compton rapper rapped over his counterparts single “A Tale of 2 Citiez.” That moved stirred up rumors that they are planning to drop a joint project but that never happen, but a collaborative single is good enough for now.

Pressure is the follow-up to Jeezy’s 2016 mixtape Trap or Die 3 which was released in November last year.

Chris Rivers Defends Big Pun & Clarifies The Misconceptions Behind His “Fear Of My Crown” Video

Chris Rivers Defends Big Pun & Clarifies The Misconceptions Behind His “Fear Of My Crown” Video

Recently, we premiered Chris Rivers’ intense video for “Fear Of My Crown,” and it’s safe to say it has recieved plenty of mixed reactions from his fans and his father Big Pun’s fans. The video highlights the painful reality of domestic violence victims, and how it can be passed down from generation to generation until someone is brave enough to stop it. After the video dropped, the overall meaning touched hearts everywhere, but it also led people to believe that the video was a literal reflection of Rivers’ childhood while growing up with his father Big Pun.

Rivers says that’s not the case at all. On the night before Pun’s birthday, Rivers took to Pun’s former producer Domingo’s Facebook page to clarify that “Fear Of My Crown” was not meant to depict his or his family’s life when Pun was alive and reiteraite the exact purpose of his “Fear Of My Crown” video.

“I want to first say that I’m super thankful for all of the positive feedback on all the people telling me [how much ‘Fear Of My Crown’] helped them,” Rivers said. “Really, we just wanted to raise awareness for domestic violence and other things like that: people that’s felt oppressed and people that felt like they couldn’t talk about this. This is why we do that. I always speak from a personal place, but I want to tell y’all that the video itself was not a depiction of my life. It wasn’t a depiction of my father. It wasn’t a depiction of my family. It was a depiction of abuse itself, and we’re trying to raise this awareness and we’re trying to bring it up. It’s been kind of marginalized, it’s been taken out of context, so I just wanted to clear the air real quick.”

On Pun’s birthday, Rivers dedicated a lengthy post to his pops and emphasized just how much he really means to him no matter what they’ve been through. Check out his full statement
